A wonderful, rare Silver Bell in the shape of a lady with a tray of children’s toys around her neck. She is wearing a full dress and has a bonnet on her head. The toys appear to be a man on horseback and a drummer boy. A delightful detail is that the clapper is shaped like little legs and feet. A separate wooden plinth has been made with a silver plaque, so the item can be given as a presentation piece if desired.The bell is in good condition and both the bell and plaque have full sets of hallmarks.Made in London.Date – 1923.Maker – Mappin & Webb.Approx.
