A wonderful George III oval Soup Tureen standing on 4 claw feet. The feet and the handles are bordered by foliate decoration, and the rim is gadrooned edged. The Tureen has a detailed crest on either side, and the lid has a small crest on either side.

The crest is that of Calvert. Impaline Macklean of Scotland.

The tureen is in excellent condition and has a full set of hallmarks on the underside. The lid is part marked.

Made in London.

Date – 1810.

Maker – Thomas Robins.
