FAQs

Delivery Costs?


Post and Packaging is £5.00 anywhere within the UK for our Standard Delivery.
Express Delivery is Available. Please contact us for costs and options.
If your items are to be sent outside the UK we will contact you to arrange delivery costs and options.


How do you deliver my goods?


We package the goods ourselves (some other web sites outsource this). We usually send packages using Royal Mail's First Class Recorded Delivery. During busy times such as Christmas and Easter, we use couriers to allow later ordering.
For Larger Items we use a courier service
Outside of the UK, we will find out the shipping costs for your country, and contact you with options, prices and Service Levels.
Please contact us if the item is urgent and we can talk you though the various options and costs for expedited services.

DELIVERY INFORMATION


Items within the UK

Standard Delivery is £5.00 within the UK. We send most of our items Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded, which requires a signature on delivery.
For larger items we use a courier on a Next Day Standard Service.
Should you need an item sent out urgently please contact us and we will talk you through the options and costs available.
Please contact us with any special requests – we will always do whatever can be done to ensure you receive your item in time.

Items sent outside the UK
We will contact you with a range of delivery options and the costs for each one. We use a number of couriers and delivery services to ensure that the most suitable and budget friendly delivery option is available.

Gifts


Please contact us if an item is a gift and you would like complimentary gift wrapping or a card.

Engraving costs?


Please telephone us to discuss your engraving requirements. We can discuss with you the fonts (styles) we offer, and give you a rough idea of how many letters you can engrave on a specific item. Engraving takes approximately 48 hours to complete.

When you go through the order process you will have the opportunity to specify engraving instructions. We will always call you to confirm the cost before we start engraving.

Most of our orders seem to be last minute requests! Please complete the on-line order, then phone us with your order number (you can see this in your 'Accounts' page, as well as the confirmation email which you will receive after placing the order). Over the telephone we will arrange to deliver the item by the quickest means possible. Note that we may charge an additional cost for this. We can also arrange to gift wrap and enclose a hand written card if you wish.

Is it possible to deliver the item to a different address?
You can specify the delivery name & address during the order process, which is ideal for sending presents. We can also add a card and wrap the gift if you wish.

Privacy Statement?


We will not pass any of your personal details onto any other company. We will never mail you with any other services or products other than those sold by us.

The only personal items of information we hold are your name, contact information and whether you want to receive promotional emails.

For audit purposes we will retain copies of credit card transactions and delivery address. Credit cards are stored using a strong encryption method (128-bit RSA). Credit card information is removed once a transaction has been processed.

Returns?


All items are individually checked before leaving our office. If your item has been damaged in the post, then please phone us and we will arrange for a replacement.
If you do not like the item for any reason, please phone us and we will try to rectify the problem immediately.
Please contact us within three days of receiving item(s) and return must be received at Suite 15, 582 Honeypot Lane, Stanmore | Middlesex, HA7 1JS within 14 days. The customer must pay for postage if unwanted or ordered incorrect item(s). Should the item(s) arrive late or be faulty, costs will covered fully by supplier.

What is Solid Silver / Sterling Silver / Silver Plate?
Solid Silver and Sterling Silver are used to describe items that are made of 925 Silver, which is an alloy comprising of 92.5% Silver and other metals added for strength. English Silver can be termed Solid Silver or Sterling Silver and is recognisable by the English Silver hallmark, which is an assurance of quality.

Silver Plated items have a base metal which is plated with a layer of Sterling Silver.
